Looking for a short spooky adventure? Then look no further, this anthology is packed full of original and strange tales to delight all you horror fans out there.

First thing though, I loved the cover of this book. Brian Burks did an awesome job creating that B movie horror flick feel.

I don't want to go into every story, so I will highlight a few that stood out to me.

Eye See You by Christine Morgan, was one story that grabbed me above all the rest. Morgan sparked my psyche as a reader and I fell under her spell. I found this tale to be both psychologically stirring and disturbing. I look forward to reading more by Morgan in the future.

Stillborn by Theresa Braun, made me feel all sorts of emotions that I did not want to feel. This story took a turn down an unexpected path by creating a perfectly crafted mother's nightmare. Certain aspects of it reminded me a bit of Netflix's Hemlock Grove series. A series which I thoroughly enjoyed. It had the same eerie kind of feel to it.

Motel Madness by Calvin Demmer, elicited feelings of excitement. This was one of the best stories I have read from Demmer. It hooked me in and it had a strong ending that left me thinking of all the possibilities where this concept could go. I thoroughly enjoyed this dark tale and I think it displays Demmer's growth as a writer. Really well done!
