I am confused by this book. I thought it was going to straight forward, the horrors of war, the loss of innocent lives and so forth. And all of those things are mentioned in the books, however at some point aliens come into the picture...
I would think it was just the way the main character was reliving or coping with the things he saw and did, that his mind was crumbling because of the horrifying experience....but aliens.
Surprisingly enough the book was easy to read and follow, but some things were rather weird besides the aliens, this fixation on adult content was also peculiar.
All I want to say that I think that I completely missed the point of the book the moment it went into the two mentioned points above.

(2.5) Not to my personal tastes, but I totally respect the author and the truth behind this story. So it goes.
