Fascinating. Like reading a whole book of those Readers Digest blurbs about super weird facts.

I especially enjoyed the comments about magic and religion.

Incredibly repetitive. I GET IT ALREADY! This was more like a thesis, a dull thesis, than a book.

Inspiring, rich, illuminating. A book that looks into the past to give meaning to the present and future.

Long read. Informative if you are ready for a plethora of anecdotes from around the world. There are some laugh out loud moments and some WTF moments too. In the end if you are anthropologically inclined a 'must read'.

Basically an examination of the development of western civilization through the myths of religions that have formed.

Absolutely fascinating.

Just go read it. You'll feel smarter.
