TikTok made me read this book, and I'm SO happy it did!

This Hades and Persephone retelling is amazing. The build up to the spice? Chefs kiss!!! The spice... Perfection. The drama... literally couldn't put it down!

Highly recommend! Can't wait to get the next book!

I just want to know what Orpheus x Eurydice ever did to Katee Robert because she is clearly not a fan. I enjoyed this book very much! The world building is really interesting, the smut is good, and I'm a sucker for Hades x Persephone in every form. Still not a fan of Hera's diminished role because she's my favorite goddess, so that's what lost the star for me.

if hades is a title does this man have a name? does greek mythology exist in this universe? how did all the adults forget about hades? why does this author know three metaphors and use them every third page?

I don’t know how to rate this book. It was a last minute read to complete my yearly goal and while I did enjoy some parts of it, most of it left me disappointed. The fact that it was hyped up to be a Hades and Persephone retelling but the only thing that even related to that aspect was just the names. There’s no magic, no actual gods. The smut was written poorly and don’t even get me started on the world building. This world was so confusing and left me with so many questions. Also this was a bit too insta lovish for me and didn’t see any good character development. This book was definitely over hyped but I am glad I at least managed to finish it. Overall a not great book with just a few redeemable qualities.
