I had been putting this one off for a while now as I've read a few of Katees other books and I wasn't a fan and i'm clueless when it comes to Greek Mythology and i was worried that i wouldn't understand certain things. But I finally decided to pick this up and I ended up really enjoying it and i didn't find it difficult to understand/get into either. I loved the story line, I loved how Persephone grew stronger throughout. I was surprised at how soft Hades seemed but I loved how he looked out for Persephone from the start. This was such a quick easy read and im actually looking forward to reading the rest, as lots of the other characters seemed very interesting.

I've heard so many amazing things about this series that I just had to pick up this book! I did enjoy it but I did loose interest in the plot. It's like if you mix god and gossip girl together. I may try reading the rest of this series.
