I don’t think there was a single thing about this book I liked?? I guess I liked the beginning, but then everything fell off. I just got so bored of it.
We kept hearing about how scary Hades is when he didn’t do a single scary thing. He beat a guy up for protecting Persephone and her sister and Im supposed to think he is actually Hades?? Edward Cullen did scarier shit in Twilight than Hades ever did in this book. He just was not in character at all and Persephone didn’t even try to be wary of him in the beginning either. It was just so off idk I just didn’t get the appeal.

Always love new releases from Katee Robert. This one definitely lived up to the hype for me. I love mythological representation/retellings, definitely a unique spin. Just wish it was a bit longer.
