I am honestly not sure what I was expecting when I started this, but I am glad I read it. The world-building is something I have not seen before and the plot twists and character development was great!

I liked this book but I didn't love it as much as the hype had me believing that I would. I can say that I was not expecting the 'deal' between Persephone and Hades to be what it was but I in no way hated it. This was a quick and fun read and I don't regret giving in to the hype for this one.

The top review sums it up well, especially the issue of world building. This read like a YA to me but with adult graphic scenes. But especially the hot mess that was the world building. Where is this taking place? How? Why? No explanations available.

I just could not get into it. I picked it up multiple times and had no interest. The story was interesting and the characters, I love me some spice but felt I wanted to hear more of the story. I really wanted to enjoy it, I just didnt.
Maybe I'll pick it up again in a few months 🤷‍♀️
