The smut was okay, but I went into this book thinking that there was going to be BDSM and was very disappointed. Though the sex in front of a crowd was pretty kinky.

A fun but not really standout read. I can definitely see this becoming a comfort reread as it follows a typical Katee Robert character drama approach. There is a lot of filler writing that slows down the pacing, things that are definitely more on the tell rather than show side, and internal monologues rehashing the external scene. The repetition and exposition makes for a good audiobook in that I can zone out and not miss anything.
