honestly, the insta love trope just isn't for me, and I don't live for the romance between lara and logan at all. I'm here for the dark serial killer plot.... but I'm also kind of bored. so do I continue or do I not continue with the series?

Wow. This series is a burst of quick novellas but they pack a seriously dark punch. Do NOT skip the trigger warnings, these books are dark. Bloody, murderous, assaulting. They don't just discuss really heavy themes but there is a lot depicted on page in gruesome detail. All that said, I really enjoyed these books FAR more than I thought I would! They are a quick read (I got through all 5 over a long weekend), but please be aware of your needs and take breaks if needed. There were times I had to put the book down and walk away for a bit.
