Beautifully written and unique story of Old Holly. It is in a poetic rhyme, but unfortunately very short. Desperately awaiting Doors of Stone.

This was aiight. Basically a gritty, adult giving tree. It's been so long since I read a Kingkiller book that I honestly have no clue how or if this ties into the rest of the series.

This is a poem with a lyrical tempo. It takes a few lines to understand. I thought it was beautiful and sad.

Charming story, but not his best writing. A bit repetitive without building on itself enough. Still, I enjoyed it.
