I first read this book in seventh grade and haven't read it since. Reading it today was so much fun because I remember the love I had for it and having a new perspective on life since I was 12 made it interesting now that I am 20. Such a cute book, just as fun as I remember. This is my second book of Booktubethon!

I swear I'll only give 3-star ratings (or lower) if I keep reading contemporary novels... WHY AM I DOING THIS TO MYSELF?

This was exactly what I needed right now; easy, fluffy, feel good, and a throwback to one's sixteen year old self. Whilst no Dickens or Austen, this book gives you exactly what it appears as: teen chick lit with all the boys, humour, and feels that a girl so desperately craves once in a while.

I brought this home as a "just in case" novel. As in, "just in case I finish everything else, I will have this to read." But I didn't finish everything else and so this went back to the library unopened.

I read it years ago and just remember really disliking it because of how generic and full of tropes it was. I can easily predict this whole story without using an ounce of my brain power. Don't read it, just think of a typical high school drama with the underdog girl becoming popular, realizing the merits of her old life, blah blah blah.
