my poor guy jack ugh that was brutal to listen to

maybe perhaps listening to the audiobook is better than reading it as a physical copy? the first book took me a fat minute to get through and this baddie was devoured over four days 

i look forward to see with what happens to that CRIMINAL that did that thing ugh what a fucking a hole boo the crowd boos get off the stage get in a jail cell

i really like how holly jackson incorporates heavy but important topics into her ya novels. that she actually shows the reader how fragile pip‘s mental state has gotten because of her two missions. she doesn’t depict her as this supernatural teenager but as someone who has to learn to cope with the trauma she went through.

I enjoyed this story. I have grown liking for Pip she is an interesting character and seems relatable. I did not see the plot twist coming and very much enjoyed it… I look forward to reading the final book in the trilogy.
