Sacha Brighton headed to her sister's wedding at the family cabin on Christmas Eve. Preparing herself for her sister's bridezilla moments, she is surprised to see that she has hired a wedding planner, and a gorgeous one at that. Hal (Hallie) is the wedding planner with a checklist for everything…she also had a crush on Sacha when they went to school. Some sweet flirtations and these women begin to spend all of their time together. Will the fact that Sacha is a mess and that Hal is a stickler be a recipe for disaster or will they fall in love?

This was a sweet Christmas novella with two main characters who couldn't seem more different but have similar underlying family strains. Unlike other romance novels, the familial issues are not the main focus of the story; the romance is. It's a very light-hearted read that made me smile and chuckle several times. This story highlights the fact that when two people want to be together, they will do whatever they can to be the best version of themselves.

This was really cute and one of the better sapphic Christmas novellas I've read recently! Full RTC! Also this is my 150th book read this year! I've never read this many before!!

Read as part of the 12 Days of Queermas Readathon!

I really loved this one. This was a sweet and funny opposites-attract christmassy novella. Sacha is a disaster in the best possible way, but she’s trying? Hal is ridiculously cute with her lists and sleigh bag. They are about as different as night and day but they have good hearts and I was rooting for them on finding happiness together.

This felt like a Christmas movie: shallow plot and shallow characters but they love each other within 2 days of holidays. It works in movies, but I'm not sure if it is that good in books.

I'm really sad to start off the year with it's book. It's not horrible but it's also not good. I couldn't care for the characters and I didn't really feel the chemistry between them, it all felt very superficial and shallow. I think this story would be better off as a novel instead of a novella because there were some plot openings that were introduced but didn't get fully explored such as Hal's crush on Sacha during high school, Sacha and Hal's relationships with their families, etc. I read this with my soulmate and they mentioned how it felt just like a Christmas Movie, short and ok, and I couldn't agree more.
