i feel so emotional. in a way this book made me happy to be from the south. i don’t have the words to do a review justice. just know this might be the best book i’ve read possibly ever.

Barbara, you have done it again! Such a beautiful book! The language, style, the characters, the story. I really enjoyed it.
It talks about a boy, his loses, hardship, addictions, and redemption.
