thanks for doing all this so I don't have to Dave.

sometimes it seems like the book exists just to push some of his own products or things that he invested in, but there are also a ton of recommendations that aren't for his products, so I guess I don't mind.

There are *some* good recommendations here. Seems to be a big conflict of interest claiming that xyz is the thing to do or take when you also sell that product or invest in that company though.

There's an overwhelming amount of information in this book. It seems like it took me forever to get through it but I'm glad I stuck with it. I learned a lot. Some of the ideas may seem a little wackadoo now, but I won't be surprised if many of them end up being general practice in the future. Asprey tried everything he discusses on himself and gives his honest opinions about them all and all of the claims are well-sourced.

TLDR; Man tests all alleged anti-aging treatments and shares his findings.

Wow. What a lot of information. There's a lot of interesting things in here to learn more about. Good to keep in mind this is one man's personal experience. Some science, mostly personal trial and error with HIS BODY. Not a lot of others.

I appreciate his tone a lot throughout this book. Almost all medical facing information is fear based, no matter what side of the pond you pick. He manages to acknowledge the ethics of the way Western medicine regulates and often withholds possibly miracle treatments (for any number of reasons) but I never felt him demonizing there other side.

Love bio hacking books..but it is easy to delve in to pseudoscience and/or n of 1 results. Lots of fringe science here and postulating. With that warning, I did enjoy the cohesive focus on fundamentals first and fringe (peptides, SARMS, etc.) later.

Really great insight into biohacking; at times, I felt it drifted and lost my attention and pushed his company rather than keeping to an unbiased view. Four-star rating, would I buy again? Absolutely!

Interesting info but much of it is speculative. I realize double blind studies on many of Aspry’s suggestions are a ways down the road but I would have appreciated even just more anecdotal stories of effectiveness on people other than Dave himself. Still, it’s worth a read for those interested in bio hacking.
