I can’t believe I waited so long to read this. This was fantastic. I really really enjoyed the movies and I can’t believe this was even better. Knowing Katniss’ thoughts adds a layer to the story that makes the situation even more dystopian and heartbreaking. Also, the characters sound and act more like teenagers which is worst because you’re constantly reminded of how YOUNG they are. Just incredible, all of it. Can’t wait to read the rest.

I never thought The Hunger Games would grab me this hard. But from page one, I was hooked. Collins delivers a thrilling and emotional story that balances high-stakes action with powerful moral dilemmas. Katniss shines as a strong, flawed heroine, and the world-building is sharp and immersive without being overbearing.

Peeta adds chaos and heart, and the whole story left me eager for more. Dark, tense, and unforgettable. This was a phenomenal start to the series, and I can’t wait to see where it goes.
