only 1 less stars bc almost made me cry in public!

the similar ‘messy’ experiences & perspectives helped me go through that growth and change along with ayane.

if this isn’t a sign to regret things more, idk what is ;)

also wish i could say thank you to each book bc all of them are just MWAH <3

The characters are all way more mature than actual high students would be in these situations. Ayane and Kento turned out exactly how anyone reading would have predicted. I always find it weird in manga when boys beg girls to go out with them and see if they start to like them. In the US, you might go on a few dates to see how you feel, but you wouldn't usually start officially dating someone you don't like.

This relationship was not healthy, and I'm glad it's over.

Ayane and Kent, I have had my heart broken. I literally love Kent to pieces, he is just so adorkable and sweet and caring for Ayane. But I feel like Ayane and I are kinda one in the same. I understand her feelings towards Kent and how she was putting her future first rather than her relationship. Which is a good thing to do, go to the school you want to go to, don't settle for the same one your boyfriend is going to! Ayane-chan is such a powerful character, and I love her for being the one that isn't committing to her boyfriend but to herself.
