While I love the overall story and the dragons, I have to agree with many that this book was too long. There was a lot of what one reviewer called "fillers". So many extra pages of description and things that neither built the story nor the character development. Were the chapters after the final battle absolutely necessary? Did eragon really need to leave forever? I know it's frustrating when too many loose ends are left, but to spend so many chapters after the climax doing so is overkill.

This book emotionally DESTROYED me but it was good.
Me cansei da escrita do autor, talvez se eu tivesse lido mais nova teria gostado muito mais da saga

I have been reading this series since 2020. I mainly picked it up because it has dragons and I had a phase where everything I read had to to have dragons but the story eventually took hold of my heart and squeezed so hard I couldn't let go. The ending is bittersweet and reminded me of How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World which made me cry even more.
