This was a fun ride, I just went with the vibes, and while there weren’t any big surprises, the ending was definitely satisfying. I hadn’t read a werewolf romance before, so there was a bit of an educational element too (iykyk). It was overall an easy read, and will definitely come back for the sequel.

I enjoyed this book, it was a good time. Misery has a dry sense of humor that I enjoyed, as I also have a dry humor. I loved Lowe and Misery chemical together, it had a nice build up to their relationship. The last that makes this read a 4 star instead of 4.5 was the third act “breakup” it didn’t fit the characters and it seemed more like it was needed for the plot instead of the characters relationship. I’m a vibes reader so I’m not sure what about it I knocked off an other .5 star, other than it didn’t feel like a 5 star without the breakup.

Really mediocre. Also overrated.
The couple has no chemistry, and I didn't find myself rooting for them—or against them. Misery was cool enough, even if she has the worst name in history (all I kept thinking about was the book Misery by Stephen King). She did all the heavy lifting in this relationship, and my man did nothing.
Lowe is alright. I don't hate him, but OMG, he really pissed me off during the latter half of the book.
