Bride is baby's first paranormal romance. It's just so bad. I just.... I keep reading these Hazelwood releases because I want to have context for what people are talking about and they're so fast and easy to read but at this point, I should know better. They're all just slop. Gross, overtly heterosexual "I'm a tiny wittle girl" and "I'm an absolute beast of a man" fuck till someone's dropping something somewhere slop.
The actual plot couldn't even make up for the gross, typical Hazelwood trope. It's too disjointed. There's way too much going on and none of it is actually wrapped up nicely. So disappointing and yet why did I expect anything else?
This is absolutely the last Hazlewood book I'll read, I promise this to myself.

This was a great mix of romantasy and mystery. So a mysteromantasy! The characters were beyond likable- and although some parts were mildly predictable… other parts had some great twists. I really hope Hazelwood visits this world again. Also it was my first toe dipping into the omegaverse- even if it was a mild dip. I was intrigued and entertained.

A very nice take on vampires and werewolves. Sexy characters and a steamy romance throughout the plot was very lovely. Characters were well developed, and Ali's writing is always excellent as well as funny.
