My first Ali Hazelwood book and I really enjoyed it! Misery’s character was fun and refreshing for a FMC. The way Ali Hazelwood developed the world building of the vampires and werewolves was well done and easy to follow.
My only issue was the lack of communication/no communication between the main characters. An assumption was made and nobody bothered to ask questions to clarify anything. I’m excited to read more books from Hazelwood!

I didn't mind the main character, she had some witty lines. The chemistry between Misery and Lowe is... pretty much non-existent. More lustful, than love. Plot seemed somewhat interesting, and I enjoyed the mystery aspect. The smut was knot for me.
