The second volume and a lot of intense things happen in this one! From our MC losing his heart to epic battles between monsters (who were all horrifying, especially when that happened to the restaurant) and the sorcerers. There was never a quiet moment and I just loved it. I loved how our MC was taught some lessons, though I hadn't expected movies to work that well for it. Satoru is a great character, really mysterious, super strong, and I still want to know more about him. While he acts all big and tough, there is something about him that feels sad.
I also liked seeing the other part of the team work with the older years for some tournament, though given how often she flew, I think there is a lot to be learned. XD

I liked this second volume less than the first. It gave me strong Naruto vibes, that is not a bad comparison per se but it is not what I'm currently in the mood for. I think if I was in high school I would really like this story, but as it is I might continue reading or I might not.

4.25! I liked it better than vol 1 but I do agree that it's soooo fast paced. The anime fixes the pacing a lot though.

Another vol. that was also included in the 1st season of the anime. Nonetheless, still so good (the anime stayed honest to the manga almost 100 percent.)
The humor in the story is one of my favs. the plot and the setting are great but what makes this manga very special is the characters. each one has something different that distinguishes him from others and once we get how the characters interact with each other everything in the story is amplified.
This manga worths every bit of my time its a fav and I love it. A reread for sure in the coming years.
