I really enjoyed this delve into the world of medical mysteries! The fast paced nature of the stories kept me gripped, and i appreciated them being grouped together by part of the body, etc.

Een interessant boek over allerlei diagnoses van dingen die vaak niet een twee drie te vinden waren. Vaak heftig om te lezen hoe veel dokters de patiënten niet geloofden (een vrouw werd maar gewoon in een psychiatrisch ziekenhuis gezet), maar gelukkig zijn er ook artsen en mensen die wel hun uiterste best doen om te helpen naar een diagnose. De schrijfstijl (en dus de vertaling) was OK, soms voelde het een beetje droog. Soms was het net iets te medisch voor me, haha, mijn hoofd was er gewoon niet in voor.
Maar echt blij dat ik dit boek heb opgepakt toen ik hem bij een van mijn biebs zag. Precies het soort boek dat ik leuk vind. Medische mysteries!

Interesting for sure! And very cool to learn about obscure medical diagnoses, but from a science perspective I wish we had gotten more detail on each case.
