This was a very well written book. Beyond just the subject matter being important, it was really well written. The characters were all well devolved and interesting. I loved the family dynamic in it. I'd like to read more from the author at some point.

So good I had to give 5.75. Very relatable book. I can relate to Starr the most. A MUST READ NO MATTER WHAT ANYONE SAYS!!!(New favourite book :P) Extremely informative and emotional though. Some hard parts.

I put this book off for so long because the number of pages intimidated me. BUT HOLY SHIT I SHOULDN'T HAVE - This book is an important book that everyone should read. Even if it's not your style, read it.

I think this book is important because it doesn't just tell a story, but it inspires. I've been interested in doing some activism but as a young teen in Florida (of all places), it's kind of hard to. But in the book it shows it doesn't matter. You still need to fight and never forget. Even if you don't think your voice is doing enough, it is inspiring others.
