I couldn’t stop thinking about the horrible, abusive therapist for the rest of the book. Or the fact that everyone needed actual therapy to work through their shit, because nobody just stumbles into being well adjusted after a trauma like that. I feel like this book did a lot of telling us how in love the MCs were, but very little showing. It was hard to feel fully immersed.
