I missed having January LaVoy in my eardrums. The book itself was relatively cute and engaging enough to keep me interested, but by god, the best thing for me was getting to hear her dang voice again.

Best narrator by far.

3.75 overall, 5 stars to the narrator

This was part of my ApollyCon TBR, and it's such a cute book. I love the new take on How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, which I love. It's like the epitome of a romcom to me. And shockingly this was my first book that's based off it.

There weren't many twists to this book, you could see them all coming, but that doesn't take away from the story. It's a feel good read that has some moments that really make you chuckle (like how she gets Jack to quit mansplaining). But I also really liked how Sasha really gave it to Hannah and made her see that she really had done the same thing Jack did. Everyone needs a friend like that.

I LOVED the narrator for this book. I'll have to see what other books January LaVoy narrates because she is so talented. (I actually just looked her up while writing this - thanks ADHD - and of course she was a narrator for Daisy Jones & the Six. One of my absolute favorite audiobooks ever).

This was a cute and quick listen. One that is perfect if you need something easy to listen to.

I mean, I don't understand why people dislike this book... maybe I do, I just adored it. I like how he tried to be the worst boyfriend ever and even with that they connected.

It was a great read, I loved this so much.

Charming romantic comedy, set in Chicago (actual Chicago not, I read a book about Chicago) with two multi-dimensional lead characters. All good... except, I didn't quite buy the conceit of the two of them lying to each other. It didn't feel right to them but it also didn't quite feel right narratively. But I still liked it a lot and read it in a dayish

I almost didn't read this book because of the very terrible reviews on it. I need to not base my desire to read a book on other people's opinion. The last book I read had 4.21 stars and it was terrible and I couldn't finish it. I thought this book was fun. And it was reminiscent of "How to lose a Guy" but with an interracial twist. Did not disappoint.
