Like the other novels, I really liked it, despite some passages quite eventful . The arrival of the governor is pretty intense and I look forward to read more .

Tout comme les autres romans, j'ai vraiment aimé celui-ci, malgré quelques passages assez riche en émotions. L'arrivé du gouverneur est assez intense et j'ai hâte de lire la suite.

This volume was certainly an improvement over the last couple I’ve read. The women in the book did have more of a plot than just being there for romance or drama. There was still a fair amount of sexism and objectification of some of the women and of course the incredibly disturbing r*pe scene between The Governor and Michonne.

The Governor appears way more menacing much faster here than he did in the television show and I think it serves the character well. You understand how calculating and maniacal he can be but when he interacts with the residents of Woodbury he’s very sweet, kind, and charming. It makes it so much creepier.

I was so looking forward to continuing with this series, but this issue did me in. It was too graphic, too vivid, and too disturbing. I knew going into the graphic novels that they would be violent and graphic, but there are some things I just don’t need to see in detail, like a woman (or man or anyone) brutally raped and beaten over and over again WITH VERY GRAPHIC IMAGERY FOR SEVERAL PAGES. That imagery won’t be leaving my mind any time soon.

I enjoyed reading it.

I'll have to say Carol proposing to Lori was hilarious but at the same time i kinda want to see it ? It sounded like so much fun Rick + Lori + Carol lmao.

I don't really have THAT much to complain about this time around, the female characters are still a bit 2 demential and people do stupid shit and make stupid decisions for no reason but overall it wasn't that bad. I guess the action at the end made up for it, although i have to say the governor sounds like a cardboard villain at times, and dude really? Where is the sneaking around and fooling everyone shit i was expecting from him? Bro was straight forward fr, i guess the show did it better, gave him more of a real personality at least.
