This was fine. The conflict on both sides was quite interesting and kept me entertained. Scarlet and Bridger (I’m still convinced that was a typo that was just carried through) were cute but a little too insta-lovey. It also seemed like it had been a looong time since the author had been to college, which would have been fine if college slang hadn’t been used liberally.
The book was fine. I didn’t want to stop reading, but I also had to look back at the blurb while writing this to remember the characters’ names even though I finished reading the book 30 seconds ago.
