Honestly wish there were 10 more books in the series, as it is, I only have one left. This is probably the best series I've read since the 2nd Percy Jackson series, which has been six years ago, I believe. And "The Creeping Shadow" is the best one yet. Anxious about the last book!

This book was thankfully back to what I love about these books, the whole gang operating together without wierd dynamics. Lucy felt more like her own person again, and even though she still cleraly fancies Lockwood it doesnt feel like her whole personality revolves around that anymore. I am still annoyed at Lucy's wierd irritated feelings for Holly, but much relieved they get along quite well in this book! Also that Holly, naturally , even misses Lucy, cause ofc she would miss not having another girl around. Thankfully George and Lockwood have stopped simping so hard for Holly as well and it feels like they treat her more like an equal and not some precious thing they want to impress. Quill kips joining the gang as well is brilliant, and I love how the whole story line is coming together in this book!

Something to note though that I have seen someone else mention, how come Lucy is not on the front cover on many of these books?? They are about her, arent they? Somehow Lockwood is doften depicted at the centret of the book, and Lucy, if there at all, in the background like she has the same precsense as George in these books. She is the goddamn main charachter!! Ugh!!! It's like Hermoine or Ron would be on the front cover of Harry potter, with Harry himself lurking in the background. Absurd!!
