Will continue on with the series but wasn't thrilled by this first book in the series. Nothing of it was very exciting to read but it was okay enough for me to try the next book.

Pretty Great

I wasn’t expecting much from a FREE book but it was great. Good story line, good background and world and great characters. I’m glad there is more to this series but wish it was about Brock and Gia.

I love Becca's bears and this one just emphasizes that point. Brock is well-written with an engaging storyline and great characters. There's also the added bonus that I love NOLA, so the setting was perfect! I'll be excited to see what's next in this series.

That said...

What the hell was that? It was just wham, bam, thank you ma'am and then it jumped to "Hi, I know we already banged, but guess what? I'm your son's father. SURPRISE!"
The blurb says: "It wasn't that long ago that she was a wild party girl, hitting up frats and luring studs into her web of drama and seduction." But then almost the entireeee book talks about how she's never had a boyfriend or had sex, and she was always the ugly duckling sitting in the corner waiting to be noticed. Which is it???

I really just laughed when the book ended.
