This was another great listen from Audrey. I really enjoyed the story, although the French was a struggle for me. I wasn’t sure about Lucy’s character at first but she grew on me.
I wasn’t sure how it was going to end up but I was satisfied with the ending.I feel like Lucy was more in love with the idea of M. Paul rather than actually being in love with him .
A very good listen with excellent guide notes.

I lost interest about 100 pages in. I doubt I'll ever come back to it.

So hard to rate this one! Equal parts good, boring, & strange. Well-written of course & I liked the story, but didn't love any of the characters.

The two main characters badly needed therapy. Lucy especially tended to self-sabatoge, which drove me nuts.
Graphic: Adult/minor relationship, Sexism, Ableism, and Mental illness
Moderate: Emotional abuse
The main character is very anti-Catholicism. I agreed with most of her thoughts, but I suspect the majority would consider it religious bigotry.katykelly's review against another edition

Will return to it in paper form at some point

I enjoyed this book but have been in a reading slump and just couldn’t get into a rhythm. Plan to revisit.

I really can't get into this story at the moment, I'll try again later.
