Love the portrayal and how well-written the non-binary representation is
The characters are unique, likeable and frankly adorable.
I liked that although the story is short, it didn’t feel that way.

Light and fun, a cozy little romance read. The first scene is a little drawn out, it doesn't end until 43% of the book (I read the digital copy) so if you're looking for a quick read this may not be for you.
Moderate: Body shaming, Fatphobia, and Dysphoria

This was cute. It's also so short that the reasons for 3rd act breakup felt forced--really, you two cannot communicate for a solid 12 hours? The length also means that we spend a lot of time talking about the characters' identities in a way that made it harder to get to know them as people.
That said, the specifics of this were charming. Sam is a nerd for maps and trains, Lily is deeply into sewing, and they're both suckers for a good song even when it's badly sung. (Sam, I'm looking at you.) It's a charming quick read with multiple instances of spice. I think I just had higher expectations because... well, because it's Anita Kelly, and I was expecting to have my heart put through an emotional juicer again.

I know it’s short, but even though it’s very queer and has a fat woman making her own clothes (yay!) I just didn’t click with this and wasn’t looking forward to finishing it.

This was such a cute, fun, and SEXY novella!
At its core this is a story about confidence and I loved it so much!
I connected To both of our MCs in different ways and ugh I just loved how much Anita Kelly was able to pack into such a small amount of pages!
This is my first Anita Kelly work but it certainly won’t be my last!
