Very fun novela!! However it was a little weird for me since I have a non binary roommate named Sam who has a job as a vet receptionist and I have a penchant for karaoke. It all felt a bit too close to home haha.

That aside it was a very cute and quick read. It largely takes place over the course of one night.

Cute, but I think the shortness of it kept me from really getting to know and fall in love with the characters myself.

I wanted to like this, but just kinda had a mid experience. I have no real complaints, it just didn't really hit for me.

A sweet novella about Sam who identifies as non-binary, and Lily, a fat queer woman, finding each other at a karaoke bar and the night that follows. I loved the discussion they had about being fat, different from the binary expectations of society and not fitting in. It was a cute, lovely story. They were both white, very obviously, so there was a little privilege that was obvious to me from the story, but it was nice nonetheless.
