This was so charming!!! I fell completely into this story from the start with Sam and Lily. They were both so easy to love and root for. I loved how their time together played out. The way that bodies were discussed in this was also very appreciated. Just had a great time reading this one.

This was a lovely little novella! I loved the characters, the dialogue, the romance. Being a novella, the plot is pretty simple, but it was well paced, and I liked the diverse representation that didn't feel didactic or too central to the plot (like, it's not like Lily comes to accept her fatness because of Sam's desire for her; she's upfront about her body being what it is). I would definitely read more of Kelly's writing!

as far as representation goes (which is my main reasoning for using the QLL), this was spot on. I think only a few books I've read have had non-binary MCs. it was an enjoyable and quick read but, wasn't necessarily a book i'd gravitate towards otherwise.

Closed Door Mod: Chapter 6, Chapter 10 (some parts)

Everything about this book was absolutely adorable! From the compelling main characters to the romance between Lily and Sam (and even the miscommunication trope had a kind of reasonable and adorable justification to it), this book had me grinning from ear to ear.
