This wasn't really my thing. The writing, dialogue, plot ...all the right elements but just fell flat. I feel the characters were inconsistent in their handling of things but maybe that's me being biased as I once again did not care for the MMC much. 

I never know how the same elements in one book are gonna hit in another and I can't always put words to why it lands the way it does. I suppose it's just the writing style/talent and overall vibes which kept turning promising and then missing the mark for me on this.

I'll probably finish the series mostly because it didn't take long to read as these are shorter books than my usual.

Okay....
Was there REALLY a plot? No. Like really nothing happens over the, what... week this book takes place. The magic system isn't developed either.
What the domineering romance hot? Yeah. Yeah, it was. And I really didn't care there wasn't a plot until about 95% of the way through the book when nothing else happened. Lol

So schön das Buch optisch ist, so wenig hat mich der Inhalt überzeugt. 
Dass das Buch viel Spice haben soll, hatte ich vorab schon gehört. 
Mir fehlt allerdings das worldbuilding komplett. Die Welt und die Situation um die Charaktere usw. Wird wenig bis gar nicht eingeführt und beschrieben. Stattdessen ist es ein richtig schlechtes Enemies-to-Lovers das nichts als toxisch ist und ehrlicherweise auch überhaupt keinen Sinn ergibt. Und der Spice selbst ist auch nur toxisch und wenig leidenschaftlich geschrieben, sodass man nicht mal dabei Spaß hat es zu lesen. Leider eine totale Enttäuschung.
