I liked it more as it went on but in the beginning I just really wasn’t into all the relationship and mommy stuff. My youngest is 18 years old. Several things were pretty predictable or at least I guessed them before they were revealed, and several things were just so unlikely they were a huge “of course” eye roll. But in the end I definitely didn’t know how she would get out of the mess and it was a decent ending. Epilogue led into the next book. But the two chapter sneak peek included really didn’t do enough to hook me. I probably won’t continue with the series.
