I wasn’t sure if this was just because I listened to the audiobook instead of reading a physical book but I thought Warren just came off as so rapey and creepy. In the first book it was more obvious that he was an asshole and him and Bridgette flirted in just an immature way and that was their relationship, but in this book when you single out Warren he is extremely aggressive and there are sex scenes that are not consensual. I know Colleen Hoover has addressed topics such as abuse in her other books, but normally it’s a positive message (ending generational trauma, every life is important, get out of abusive situations, etc). Totally just missed the mark on this one.

love it

It wasn’t as good as maybe some day in my opinion
But the different story within the story was cool
I wish it had a little more to it though I wish it would have continued further into the original book

After ready Maybe Someday and realizing there were follow up books I decided to read this. It added nothing to the original story. It didn’t really need to be written. I didn’t really care about Bridget and Warrens story.

I'm so breathless okay. Okay I am having a seizure, combined with an emotional break down and a heart attack. This was too fucking much, why, why did I think this would be a good idea to read this? Why why why on earth?! Now I'm in love and I'll never get over them and I'll die and I'll have a book hangover and maybe dream about them at night.

Or maybe not.

Just the concept and plot of this book alone were enough to suck me inside the rabbit hole, oh, and the fact that Warren was the main character. This is like Veronica Roth's [b:Four: A Divergent Story Collection|18126198|Four A Divergent Story Collection (Divergent, #0.1 - 0.4)|Veronica Roth|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1393687572s/18126198.jpg|25457412]' okay? While reading Maybe Someday I just had that annoying thing in the back of my mind were I just needed more Warren. Every time he appeared in Maybe Someday I laughed my ass off and always had a great time with him, and you're gonna tell me he's got a book for himself?! I bought this and was reading it two seconds later, that's how excited I got, and it did not dissapoint me, Hoover never dissapoints me.

i ate this sh!t up
