3.5 this one was fun but harder for me to get into. The last half saved it for me. I loved podaxis as a side character. And I like the shape of Dorian’s character throughout the story.
All in all a fun read.

True love is sacrifice and maybe a failed assassination attempt. This book gave us the travels and story of Maisie, our runaway princess from Heart of the Raven Prince. I knew this was a little mermaid retelling, but really seeing herself giving up and ready to turn to seafoam hurt my heart. I'm very grateful for the love she found with Dorian and cannot wait to see more in this world.
