Yes. So good. So clever. You can see through all the horrible little creeping steps towards doom but still can't really blame the animals for being fooled. They're reasonable enough to know they could be wrong, and therefore refer to those creatures around them, their social surroundings, for help and support in understanding their situation and their goals; the pigs have enough insight to realise this fact, and abuse it. Also, Boxer's fate still makes my heart hurt.

Cuốn tiểu thuyết Chuyện Ở Nông Trại hay Trại Súc Vật là một bức biếm họa sâu cay về Liên Bang Xô Viết được viết lại theo cảm nhận của George Orwell. Great read, a little challenging for me just because the raw representation of political oppression is so accurate, that it didn't excite me. It was as if I was reading an interesting history book, rather than symbolic fiction.

I also found it a great choice that the pigs turned out to be the worst of the animals, and the most resembling of humans, given that "pig" is also used to negatively describe policemen, another corps known for corrupted oppression.

Really glad that I finally read a full Orwell, excited to notice the ways it improved my literacy and linguistics!
