This was decent, but the writing style really wasn't my favorite. Reading like a Hallmark movie, but then randomly having spicy moments was strange. It almost felt like it was written by a college student or something. Also, literally nothing happens. It's just an insta-love story, which isn't my fave.
It was cute, and I enjoyed this enough, but it wasn't anywhere near a 5 star read for me.

I finished this book so quickly I literally feel like I absorbed it, it was so good! Such a cute small town romance which I am a sucker for and although it’s very faced paced we also get some great character developments and hints at some future stories!! So excited to read more of this author!

struggled with the random bouts of "he struggled to not punch Character XYZ in the face" and hazel slapping him on the side of the head. There was also a strange comment about people with piercings early on that I didnt appreciate. overall I enjoyed the book a lot but it was hard to get into and i was told the smut was "filthy" and i didnt even blush reading it. the side characters and main character jeanie are very loveable and i look forward to the next one, hopefully it doesnt also include the things i disliked from this one. it truly had the vibe of a small town romance, and had a few sweet moments, it just included some very normalised little things that werent relevant to anything and that i didnt like.
