Evocative artwork and a thoughtful exploration of the title character make Blacula a worthwhile read. I hope to see more from this team.

Love a good vampire horror graphic novel, especially on steeped in pop culture icons.
  • lovingly pays homage to the original material
  • adds to the back story giving it weight
  • leaves the door open for Universal monster crossovers

Not usually a graphic novel reader, but I genuinely enjoyed this one.

A solid mix of horror, history, and modern-day realism all centered around vampires and vengeance.

The story had heavy and intense elements at moments which made the overall narrative more compelling.
