Holy Moses this is my favorite play of all time my god. A must read for anyone interested in theatre or is a Queer, Jewish, Theater kid.

Indecent is a poignant lesson on the dangers of censorship (which is all too relevant today). It exists in the intersection of queer and jewish and navigates that space beautifully. The reason for the lower rating is primarily because I was not expecting a certain event towards the end of the play that caught me off guard at a time that I was not prepared to read it. This play is wonderful, but make sure to check content warnings. why does all mainstream jewish media lead to the Holocaust?
