Very good! Cute story line. I love the rich boss romance without the inappropriate sex scenes. Reccomend it if you like this story line. Some scenes were hard to follow, but overall well written.

This was a very cute book, I smiled a lot. Similar to the Rosie Project. A nice easy read perfect for the beach or vacation read.

This book is a cute romcom although it can definitely be too cheesy. Quinn comes off as being a little too controlling and Janie a little too absentminded. The friend group is sweet and even though the romance takes awhile and Quinn keeps Janie in the dark way too much. Overall, it’s a good story but could use some refining. 3.5⭐️, 1.75🌶

I really enjoyed the ebook, but the audio is even better. I like these books because they’re the kind I can enjoy over and over again. I usually prefer dual POV, but this really works only from Janie’s POV. This is the epitome of slow burn. We get to know Janie & Quinn individually and as a couple.

I own the audiobook, but it happens to be on Audible Escape at the time of this review (9/13/19).

Trigger warnings: violence, attempted kidnapping

September 2022: Rating changed to 4 stars. I had a sudden urge to re-read this book this month and I was not disappointed! I was actually surprised that I ended up enjoying it a lot more the second time around. Janie is a really funny and quirky main character. I love her random bouts of trivia word vomit, and they honestly get more amusing as the book goes on. Quinn is still a hard man to get to know and fall for in my opinion, but I really liked their interactions. Some of his behavior still gets on my nerves, hence the four stars, but overall I had a great time with this re-read and now I'm pretty sure I'm gonna dive into the rest of the series again. At least I'll have them all reviewed this time!
