I usually love heist novels, but not this one. The tension wasn't there. It was one crime to the next with no build up between, the plan constantly going wrong before the characters set it right with their "skill set". The plot was thin and the characters one dimensional. 

I've read a lot of books worse than this. I've rated many of them better than two stars. The reason I'm giving Thieves Gambit 2 and not those? Because the biggest crime in TG was not the thieving. It was that it was boring.
