This book is full of personality. It's fast-paced, and clever, with wonderful characters who spring to life and then stick around, rattling in at odd times or quiet moments. I've read this book so many times (in so many formats) and somehow the ending still makes me cry. As always, Gaiman is exceptional. A five-star read.

I really loved the full-cast production, especially Silas, though I could barely understand what the sleer was saying. One of those fun bills that introduces a new adventure each chapter, though I found the ending a bit sappy, and, oddly, unrealistic. How is an uneducated boy with no record of existence except a passport that will expire at some point travel the world and still feed himself?
