This is a bad at sports romance. If I thought there previous book in this series was bad at hockey, this one even more so.

The MMC was drafted into the NHL, RECEIVED A SIGNING BONUS - which implies HE SIGNED A CONTRACT, and HAS AN AGENT. Unless hockey works differently then the other NCAA sports, he shouldn't be able to play for his college team. If I'm wrong, please let me know, and will gladly revise.

On top of that, this book takes place in Illinois, and the bar the MMC and FMC work at has TVs showing the Chicago Bulls in the playoffs. However, there's no mention of the Chicago Blackhawks, you know, the NHL team? Like if there was a grumble about the Blackhawks not making the playoffs or something, would have accepted it. However, you have the MMC being a college hockey player, and there's no mention of the hockey team?

I don't remember much about the actual plot, but it was very flimsy, and unbelievable. Especially when it comes to the running off the bar...
