I'm conflicted. This is such a good idea and the flitting between two characters works well to show the two sides of a coin when it comes to 'Mummy Influencers'.
However, I can't bring myself to like Ali. Between her lying, selfishness and drinking, she is wholly annoying. I can understand that she's supposed to be somewhat unlikeable in the fact that she's more caught up in Insta than real life, but large portions of her story were so irritating to read through.
Having said that, it was a great commentary on the impacts of social media on relationships and mental health, as well as an interesting look into the world of influencers.
The only other thing I would say is that it just sort of... ends? There are obvious cliffhangers for the second book and it doesn't feel like a satisfying conclusion.
