WOWOWOW I really enjoyed this. I was really sucked INTO the book. But I do, now more than ever, need another jurdan book, maybe from Cardan's perspective this time? 🙏🤍

i wanted really bad to love this book...but i just don't think it was meshing with me

i REALLY loved the beginning & the flashbacks. it made me me connect with oak a lot more & so excited for the rest of the book, but after the 10% mark it just kind of fell flat for me ://

for the next 30% of the book, it felt like nothing happened & i was SO bored. i was so tempted to put the book down & come to it later. BUT at the 40% mark, it started to pick up again & i was excited!!! for it to (once again) fall flat
