I loved this book. Fitz really has grown up in a lot of ways. He makes some of the same mistakes, but now he tries to amend them. It feels very real. This is a great book. It did not have middle book syndrome for me. So much happened and yet, also, most of the story was at Buckkeep. I can’t wait for the next one. Luckily it’s on the way from the library!

The only thing is Fitz’s relationship with the Fool is strained. And that is too bad. Thankfully, they are beginning to mend it.
