It's been quite some time since I've read a fated mate story and this gave me so much nostalgia from when I first started reading paranormal romances. This was so addicting to read which is why it only took me a day and a bit to devour it.
Although I would have preferred Mari or Kennedys story next, I'm still looking forward to book 2 of the series.

As first book in a series, this one sets up the parameters pretty well. I liked the dynamics between Una and Killian, I'm a sucker for the "he didn't realize it until it was too late" trope. What I can say, having read the next few books in the series, they all include rejections and groveling...so yay!
I can't say this one is my favorite of the bunch, but it's still very fun. And this is coming from someone who gave up on paranormal romance for a decade+.
